UNIT PROFILES : The Alliance Borderers

1st Regiment - Alliance Borderers
Commander:   Uriah Jurn

Formed during the Reunification War, this full Regiment does not count on any BattleMech and rely on superior armor and infantry tactics against superior firepower. Each of the three battalions is assigned to a specific world, protecting major military industrial facilities and being relocated to other systems in case of aggression.

The first and third battalions have the important task to defend the military complexes of Ramora and Mitchella, frequently attacked by pirates and raiders. Each battalion has one company equipped with helicopters acting as hunter-killers and two other companies with tracked vehicles. The second battalion located in Coraines and is more frequently moved to other worlds and is equipped with light and faster hovercrafts and other vehicles alongside the helicopter company. All battalions have their own organic infantry support, most of time motorized and equipped with towed autocannons.

Along the recent years, the Alliance Borderers received locally designed vehicles like the Chieftain Heavy Tank and the Wildcat/Hellcat helicopters. It also has locally modified variants of combat vehicles.

The order of battle below reflects the ideal full size units by 3025 and damaged or destroyed units may be missing or being replaced by different vehicles that are available.

An alternative Order of Battle considering only canon units is presented after as alternative or as previous composition before the introduction of the custom designs found in this blog.

Battle Value 2 totals per Company were added also
